Child & Family Committee

The Child and Family Committee works to encourage service systems and professionals to assist children, adolescents, and families to build on their strengths and develop skills and knowledge to cope effectively with stress and adversity (resiliency) so they can live, play, and work in their communities (recovery). The Committee also develop best practice guidelines for agencies serving children and families. It has developed the Resiliency and Recovery Brochure, Resiliency/Recovery CrosswalkGuidelines for Developing Resiliency for Children and Families, and Resilient Kids & Families documents.
