Public Awareness
The Public Awareness Committee sponsors events to increase the public awareness of the need to support individuals in recovery, increase community integration, and reduce the stigma associated with persons who have behavioral health (mental illness and/or substance use) disorders. The mission of this Committee is to inform the public, service providers, and patrons that individuals affected by mental illness and substance use disorders can and do recover.
