ACCR Plans Strategic Planning for 2017

The Allegheny County Coalition for Recovery (ACCR) is continuing to forge ahead in promoting recovery and resiliency principles to all that will listen. Last year (2016) marked the 15th year of bringing together children, adolescents, adults and families living with behavioral health concerns to promote a fulfilling life.

The steering committee of ACCR believes it is the right time to take a deep look at where the group started, what has been accomplished over the last 15 years, and what the focus of ACCR needs to continue or should be. To accomplish this, the steering committee has begun a process of review, is planning to invigorate our mission, and looks to develop an action plan for the group.

A survey for members has recently been sent out to understand past & present members’ perspectives as we begin this exploration. If you have not received one and would like to take part, please contact ACCR and we will be sure to send one to you.

This passion is still very much alive at ACCR to work toward a system of care that is strongly rooted in recovery and resiliency principles. Hop on aboard with us.
