Child & Family Committee Promotes Recovery & Resiliency at AFN Picnic

Supporting families is the best way to support children. That is what Allegheny Family Network does on a daily basis. On a beautiful Friday in August, AFN hosted a picnic in Schenley Park for children and families. ACCR Children’s committee sent two members to join in the fun. It was a great day sharing food and activities with hundreds of kids and family members.

Our time was spent chatting and stringing beads into bracelets and necklaces with pre-schoolers, kids, teens, moms, dads and grandparents. Fun was had by all. It was an opportunity to support families and AFN as well as getting ACCR’s message of resiliency and recovery out.
